Happy Fall, Y'all!

Hello! I have been meaning to write a new blog post for a while, but I have been so busy! Finally, I have had a few minutes to sit and gather thoughts and wanted to share what is going on here at Nature’s Elements with you.

First of all, I am SO excited that fall is here! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the colors and crispness of the air. And, yes, I am a pumpkin spice lover as well. With the changing of the seasons in nature, we have some changes around here too. After all, change is the one thing we can count on, right!

Fall is on the way!

There is just something about September... Glimpses of Fall begin to appear. Fall is my absolute favorite season! After the heat and humidity of an Arkansas Summer, Fall energizes me. I love the cooler mornings, the leaves changing color, and yes, everything pumpkin!

Speaking of pumpkin, I have some new products in that I am excited to try. For the fall, I am offering a special themed body treatment: the Pumpkin Body Glow and Wrap. The Glow and Wrap is a combination service that blends a body glow (a salt or sugar scrub) with a full body masque.

New Next Week: Cold Stone Massage

By now, almost everyone has at least heard of Hot Stone Massage. You may know it by different names: La Stone Therapy, Warm Stone Massage--I do a technique called Healing Stone Massage. But with the heat climbing into the upper 90s and heat indices nearly at 110 degrees, warm or hot ANYTHING is probably far from your thoughts. I know that's true for me.

That leads me to introduce my newest offering just in time for the "Dog Days of Summer": Cold Stone Massage. I have wanted to try this for some time, and I have used some cold stones mingled with the warm many times in the past.

New Services at Nature's Elements

Well, I think Spring is finally here, and I could not be happier! To celebrate,
we are adding a few new items to our menu, and I want to let you all know
about them.

If you know me, you know I really love incorporating elements of nature into
my massage and spa services, and try to use the most natural products
possible (hence our name). In my very first massage job in Eureka Springs
I learned how to do a very natural facial and I still use it today, making fresh

Newest Offering - Partner Massage Workshop

Hi Everyone! I know it has been some time since my last post. I have been busy working on ideas and plans to implement them.

First of all, I cannot believe it is already 2014! Not only that, January is already gone! Where does it go so fast? I don't know. But I am so ready to take on the new year! And one of the ways I want to do that is to offer all of you a brand new service: a workshop for you to learn a little bit of massage so you can enjoy the benefits of it at home, in between visits.

I didn't know you did facials here!

Many of you have asked me about my facial treatment through the years, so I thought I'd take an opportunity to describe it for you.

The facial treatment we provide here at Nature's Elements is a truly unique experience. I admit, I did learn some of the pieces from a wonderful massage place in Eureka Springs, AR, where I began my career as a massage therapist. I give Susan Sutherland and the girls at Healing Benefits of Massage (in 2001) credit and my undying gratitude. They were, and continue to be an inspiration to me in providing service using elements of nature.
