Giving Thanks!

Hello, Everyone! Well, it looks like Fall is finally going to make an appearance, and I could not be happier! Yes, the time change is going to take a few days to adjust to, but this cooler weather is so awesome!

Now that Halloween is over, my thoughts turn to Thanksgiving. I see everyone posting on Facebook all they have to be thankful for, and it causes me to reflect as well. I am so very thankful for everything in my life right now. I have my health, which is not something to take for granted. Early this year my roommate Taylor had a stroke that came seemingly "out of the blue". In an instant, both of our lives were turned upside down. It really made me take stock of things--what was really important to me. Her stroke was mild, but it still was bad enough to land her in a rehab hospital for 18 days and take away the use of her left side as well as affect her vision. Things will never go back to that "normal" again, but we have found a "new normal" and you know, in many ways, it is better than before. It's almost like it refocused both of us on what is really important. For me, that is relationships--all of them. For me, this means my relationship with God, myself, my family, my friends, my clients, my fellow therapists, my community at large, the planet... well, you get it. I have been very aware of the interconnectedness of everything. I have come to realize more than ever how each little part, no matter how small, affects the whole. We all make ripples all day, every day. I want my ripples to be good ones. I am thankkful for my career, because it gives me such wonderful satisfaction to help people feel better.

This brings me to another topic- Thanksgiving Holiday Specials! I have been working on what I hope will be some fun stuff for y'all for the holidays. First of all, BLACKFRIDAY AND SATURDAY weekend, we will have all of our gift certificates on sale! In years past, there has been a minimum purchase of 3 to get the deal. But this year, thee is no minimum or maximum you must purchase. You will save on each certifiate purchased based on the value of the certificate. Here is how it breaks down:
$45-$60: save $5/certificate
$65-$125: save $10/certificate
$130 & up: save $15/certificate
So, the more you spend, the more you save. It will be a great time not only to get all of your holiday shopping done (I mean, who doesn't want a massage, right?) but also to stock up for yourself for the coming year! Gift certificates don't expire! They are non-refundable, but you can give them to anyone you like. Also, they are redeemable for any service we have. Can you think of a more perfect gift?? I can't.

Also, If you do purchase at least 3 gift certificates on Friday or Saturday, you will receive an ADDITIONAL gift certificate for a 30 minute massage! You can use this for yourself or give it to someone on your list. Just a way to say "thank you" for your loyalty.

Next, we are going to have a drawing for some cool prizes, including some massage certificates. Each certificate purchased AND each session received or scheduled on Friday and Saturday ONLY gains 1 entry into the drawing! Not sure how many prizes we will give away. I am still working on that.

Sound fun so far? I think so. This is my 4th Thanksgiving to be in business, and I feel like a celebration!

Of course, we will also have December specials as Christmas draws near. I am going to be using Facebook a lot more for flash sales and specials, so watch our page for those... especially Cyber Monday. If you haven't "liked" our page, it is NaturesElementsLR. Share it with your friends! I'd love to see our likes grow to over 500.

I'll be sending out an email with all of this info on it as well, so no worries, unless we don't have your email address! If you'd like to receive our emails (there are not many through the year, but a few), just make sure we have your address.

I truly hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, whether you celebrate big or small. I know my heart is full of gratitude for all of the ways I have been blessed, and that includes each of you. I hope to see you or hear from you soon!

It's important to give thanks from time to time. I like that point of view.
