Hi Everyone! I know it has been some time since my last post. I have been busy working on ideas and plans to implement them.
First of all, I cannot believe it is already 2014! Not only that, January is already gone! Where does it go so fast? I don't know. But I am so ready to take on the new year! And one of the ways I want to do that is to offer all of you a brand new service: a workshop for you to learn a little bit of massage so you can enjoy the benefits of it at home, in between visits. I am really excited about trying this out. As most of you know, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapy Instructor since 2002. I taught for several years at American University of Healing Arts, and for about 2 years at Heritage College. Since I left Heritage in 2012, I have not had an outlet for teaching, and I have missed it! I have been thinking about how to reintroduce this into my career here at Nature's Elements, and I decided that I did not want to teach any Continuing Educations courses for licensed massage therapists, at least not at this time. My continued education has been in so many areas, I don't really have a specialty I feel I could teach to therapists. BUT- I love teaching the basics of massage, the flow, mechanics, and strokes. So, I thought putting a short little session together for YOU to learn a little would be the perfect way for me to be able to teach, and continue to cater to my clients. Now, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS-- I am in NO WAY teaching you so that you can license or perform massage professionally. This little workshop is merely a way to give you a little help so that you can help your partner, spouse, friend, or family member experience massage touch safely.
So, here's how it's going to work (as I envision it): You can schedule a 2 1/2 hour private session (one pair) for $170. I will briefly go over some basic draping and information and then each of you will get the opportunity to give and receive some massage from the other, with me guiding and supervising. Draping WILL be used and individual privacy will be respected. At the end, I'll give you a chance to ask any questions, give you a little handout to help you remember, and a little bottle of lotion to take home. Sound like fun? I hope so. Also, if you want to get a few friends together, you can schedule a 2 1/2 hour group session (4 people) for $300. Same format, but within a group setting.
I hope you will enjoy this new service. It would make a great girls day activity, or a nice way to spend time with a special person. Give me a call or email me if you'd like any more information.
