Hello again! It's time for another little blog to keep you all in "the know" about the goings on at Nature's Elements Massage.
First of all, those of you who have been in to see us in the past month or so may have seen a new face. I am very happy to have my best friend and awesome massage therapist, Margaret Specht, working here. Margaret has been a full-time licensed massage therapist for 14+ years. She has worked in several different arenas, from chiropractic offices to spas/clinics to being a therapist for the Arkansas Travelers Baseball team. She has worked in group practices as well as owned her own place. Margaret has experience in many different types of massage and spa treatments, including sports and injury, Swedish relaxation, wellness, reflexology, CORE work, and deep tissue. She also gives an awesome facial, stone massage, and any other spa service we offer. Margaret has a special gift for providing an "experience", not just a massage. She has the same focus as Clayton and I do of putting YOU, the client, first and making the session about YOU, as it should be. If you haven't met Margaret, stop in and say hello sometime, or schedule a session with her. If you know her, you already love her. So, everyone welcome her!
Of course, there are only 3 rooms here, so as we welcome Margaret, we say goodbye to McLees. McLees has decided that she needs to be in a place where she can build her skills and clientele, and Nature's Elements is too new for that to happen for her. So, she has decided to head for Massage Envy on Chenal. McLees is a very good therapist and we will miss her, but wish her all the best at her new location! If you've been a client of hers, give her a call.
Besides a changing of people, I guess the newest happening is that we have become a partner of Spafinder.com. Spafinder is a national massage locator service and they also sell gift cards in kiosks around the country and online. I decided to give them a try after checking them out and realizing that Nature's Elements would be the only Little Rock massage studio affiliated with them. I have had several calls from people who have held gift cards from them for years because there was nowhere to redeem them. Well, the wait is over...we can do it! This will also give us one more place on the web to be seen.
I wanted to also thank all of you who have given reviews on our massagebook site or google, yelp, foursquare, citysearch, or any other site. All of those wonderful reviews really help us get our name out there. We want to be known as the best place to go in Little Rock for massage, bodywork, or spa treatments! We appreciate all the wonderful reviews and also the ones that show us where we need to step up our game. So, thank you!
Also, thanks to all of you who have donated your body and some minutes of your massage to experience Warm Bamboo Massage. I appreciate the practice, and I hope you have appreciated receiving something new and different. Thanks for the feedback too. I am going to continue to work with them in each session as requested for a while until I feel confident that I can give a bamboo massage worthy of a special session. So, if you haven't experienced it and want to, just let me know a little before your next session and I'll have them warm and ready.
Lastly, Mother's Day is coming up on May 11...we have some special add-ons that we are giving complementary with the purchase of a gift card for Mom. Also, if you want to give a gift that will keep on giving for a while, consider a massage series or a spa bundle. These are packages of 5 sessions (either 60 or 90 minute). Details are on the booking website menu. We are also offering $10 off of any facial service. If you want to create a special package, get in touch and we will customize one just for her. Remember, gift cards can be purchased online as well as in the studio.
That's it for now. Everyone be well and we hope to see you soon!
